Knightec is a Swedish engineering consultancy firm that offers a broad range of services in various engineering disciplines. They provide expertise in areas such as product development, innovation, digitalisation, and sustainability. Knightec collaborates with clients from different industries to help them solve engineering challenges, improve products, and drive innovation.

Background & mission
Both of our clients recognise a growing demand for the electrification of large vehicles and machines in the near future. Leveraging Bosch's expertise in machinery and engineering and Knightec's proficiency in electrification and innovation positions them as potential excellent partners. Our mission was to assist them in exploring this future landscape, establishing the groundwork for a collaborative partnership, evaluating business models, and determining the next steps forward.

Workshop session
With a group of mixed teams from Bosch Rexroth and Knightec, the workshop was conducted using pen and paper. Later, we digitised the materials when compiling them for the client.

1. Discuss partnership
We began our workshop session by exploring the benefits/opportunities, and concerns/challenges associated with a potential partnership. Our intention was to address any fears and concerns early on before delving into the definition of the partnership.
2. Costumer relations
An overview of the roles we encounter with the customer was mapped out. 

Who is the primary target audience?
Who influences different decisions?
3. Business blueprint
We created a first joint overview of the journey to electrify their machines and vehicles. The purpose of the session was to inspire discussions about what roles we can take along the way and what value we should create in various events.​

4. Defining partnership
We engaged in more in-depth discussions regarding a potential partnership, aiming to define the parameters and core conditions necessary for a successful collaboration.
5. Roadmap
Finally, we made a roadmap with the nearest activities and the path forward.
Next step
Suggested next step after this workshop is for Bosch Rexroth and Knightec to take this further and validate value propositions with the customers.
